On October 1, 2017, the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid (CMS) will implement a new policy regarding MSP reimbursements, specifically liability Medicare set-asides (LMSAs). This Perfect Storm is set to hit third-party liability insurance settlements. Parties settling these cases need to heed the warnings and be prepared.
